The Bangor Daily News has a report on UMaine crime statistics announced Monday. The report noted burglaries at residence halls have dropped dramatically, something that spokesman Joe Carr attributed to a new building entry system installed in dormitories. Robert Dana, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, said safety is one of UMaine’s highest priorities.
