Faculty Research Awards, Scholarly Materials and Equipment Awards Announced

Michael Eckardt, UMaine vice president for research, has announced the recipients of the 2009 Regular Faculty Research Awards and the Scholarly Materials and Equipment Awards.  Recipients are selected based on recommendations by the Faculty Research Funds Committee.  Funds for this program are provided by the Vice President for Research (in part, from the Coe, Somers, and Weppler Funds) as part of a broader investment strategy designed to assist faculty and encourage research and other creative achievements.
