The 2024 senior capstone exhibition, Mutual Threads, opens Friday, November 15 and runs through January 20, 2025. The exhibition features work by Studio Art B.A. and B.F.A. seniors. Please join the department for the opening reception on Friday, November 15, 5-7pm. There will be food, drink, and music. Free and open to the public.

Bethany Engstrom, adjunct assistant professor of art, is featured in an exhibition at the UMaine-Farmington Art Gallery. Titled Bethany Engstrom: In the Works, the exhibition opens October 31. Lord Hall Gallery will host a two-person exhibition featuring Anishinaabe Oji-Cree mother/daughter artists Lara Kramer and Ida Baptiste. The Department of Art’s sculpture program is holding its annual open studio on Friday, April 26, 4-6pm. Please come by the studio (Old Fire Station Building) at 13 Flagstaff Rd. (adjacent to the Collins Center for the Arts parking lot) to view student work.
