Virtual Tutoring: Black Bear Tutors has collaborated with local schools and aftercare programs to offer virtual tutors for K-12 students during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Tutors will meet with your student for at least one, hour-long session each week, via a virtual platform which works best for both the student and the tutor. Students will be matched with tutors from University of Maine based on a variety of criteria including tutor expertise, student needs, scheduling availability, and the preferred grade-level as specified by the tutor.
