The University of Maine Health Professions Club strives to promote cooperation, not competition, between all healthcare fields. We aim to provide educational resources and experiential opportunities to enable the success of future health professionals. We are committed to promoting personal and professional growth, and to cultivating a culture of compassion and excellence in healthcare.

The purposes of this organization are to serve as a resource and community for supporting undergraduate women in STEMM fields. This undergraduate division will partner with the faculty and graduate student divisions to support women in science-related professions — working as a support and peer-mentored tier system.

FAROG (Franco-American Resource Opportunity Group), is a group of students who meet monthly for a meal and discussion. The FAROG student group also participates in community events and planned trips. Members get to meet and associate with other people with similar backgrounds and experiences to learn more about their Franco-American Identity.

Our group is for women in economics (or business,stem, we are inclusive), who are underrepresented in the field. We give opportunities for women in econ to connect with each other, as well as open them up to professional development and opportunities.
