ESW is a national non-profit organization composed of collegiate and professional chapters working through hands-on projects to sustainably improve the welfare of the world. We plan on contributing to our local community through projects like repairing a bridge on the trail system behind Orono High School and volunteering at the Hirundo Wildlife Refuge.

We work on different aquaculture techniques and we do some outreach with schools and families that want to take part in aquaculture in their own home or classroom. We help teach and run aquaponics systems, set up and maintain marine/freshwater species and their habitats, etc.
