Flying Club

The Umaine Flying Club meets regularly to discuss any and all things aviation. The club offers students the opportunity to explore aviation. The club operates and offers two aircraft based out of Bangor International Airport. Both Aircraft are available to students to be rented out for use in flying to earn experience/credit towards an FAA Pilots Certificate of varying degrees, joining licensed pilots within the club for a joyride and gaining a deeper understanding of general aviation aircraft. Any student can look to the club as a very useful resource for gaining information like learning materials, ground school and finding a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
