Office of Facilities Management

The Office of Facilities Management provides a broad range of services to the University community. These include management of: 

• Capital construction projects
• Maintenance and operations (with a full range of trades) 
• The university motor pool and garage
• The central power plant and extensive related campus infrastructure
• Housekeeping and custodial services for the university’s 4.5 million square feet of buildings
• Recycling/resource recovery operations
• Administrative functions support these activities, including offices responsible for financial management, health and safety, and permitting.

We are committed to a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Decisions are guided by the Campus Master Plan and the University’s Climate Action Plan.
