Special Circumstances and Financial Aid Appeals

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Department of Education recognize that a student and/or family’s ability to afford a higher education may be impacted by factors not specified on the financial aid application, FAFSA.

If your situation has changed significantly from what is reflected on your 2021-2022 FAFSA (for example, if you or a parent lost a job or had a significant drop in income), you may be eligible to have your financial aid reviewed for additional financial aid.
