Employer: Intern at Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG)

Academic and/or Professional Interests: At GPCOG, Sarah uses GIS to address problem areas in transportation and planning, quantifying these problems through spatial analysis. Her primary interests are in human-landscape interaction, using remote sensing to study the effects human activity has had on the Earth. Sarah has also been involved with several archaeology projects and looks forward to using spatial information to help with archaeological research.
