Aaron Boothroyd is a Lecturer of New Media in the School of Computing and Information Science. He currently instructs courses on 3-D modeling, animation, digital art, special effects, and game design.

Experience and Scholarship Interests
Aaron has over a decade of professional experience in digital production, spanning multiple mediums, including filmmaking, location sound recording, game design, animation, and still photography. He has produced work for clients such as Google, Doritos, The University of Maine, and The Jackson Laboratory. In addition to teaching courses at UMaine, he is also an instructor at Maine Media Workshops in Camden, Maine. Aaron designed and currently curates the Focus Ring media lab at Boardman Hall and holds the title of president at Levelbestâ„¢, a Maine-based multimedia production and game design studio.
