Academic and/or Professional Interests: As a high school librarian, I’m interested in teaching students how to find and analyze information for credibility, accuracy, and relevance. I have a background in database programming and web development and, combined with my experience as a writer and editor, manage the school website and other web-based resources for maintaining the school’s information systems. With my colleagues in the Computer Science department, I’ve been working to expand the computer science curriculum to make sure all students have some experience with computation thinking. I’m interested in data analysis and visualization and in teaching those skills to my students.
