Professor Egenhofer Leads PhD Completions at the University of Maine

In December 2019, Professor Max Egenhofer completed the supervision of his 18th PhD at the University of Maine. This puts him at the top of current UMaine faculty with respect to number of PhDs supervised to completion. His PhDs have been employed in academia at Pennsylvania State University; University of Maine at Augusta; University of Maryland; University of Redlands; United States Military Academy West Point; The University of Melbourne; Tokyo Metropolitan University;  University of Concepcion Chile; University of Salvador Brazil;  University Putra Malaysia;  Hunan University of Science and Technology Peoples Republic of China (PRC); and National Cheng-Kung University Taiwan. Others are working in leadership positions and senior software developers at ESRI, Oracle, and Yotta Ltd, Australia. They have published extensively and accumulated together over 15,000 citations to their papers.
