Course Pre-Approval
Course syllabus, registration instructions, pre-course documents, and schedule will be sent out in emails once rosters are obtained.
Note that pre-course documents as well as proof of open water certification are requirements prior to being approved for class. If you do not have an open water certification but plan on taking SMS 324 in the future, consider signing up for our open water course (SMS 124) in the spring semester.
Once documentation is viewed, the DSO will reach out to inform you of dates you can join for your swim evaluation and checkout dive. There will be multiple opportunities to complete this, however ALL skills must be completed to standard in order for you to be accepted into class.
