Jeff Frank, ’06 currently works for Energy Excelerator, a Hawaii-based accelerator program for clean technology start-ups. Prior to this, Jeff served as Press Secretary for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). After UMaine, Jeff spent two years in Belize as a Peace Corps Volunteer where he taught high school classes in a rural Maya village. After returning to the United States in 2008, Jeff earned a MA in Community Development and Applied Economics at the University of Vermont. During his time at Vermont, Jeff co-founded an analytics firm called “Hear Forward.” After spending a year growing his company, Jeff left Vermont to become a Senior Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution. In 2011, Jeff left Brookings to take a position with Sen. Bernie Sanders.
