Daniel Troup is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Canadian Studies at the University of Maine. His research focuses on the connection between domestic social conflict and international cooperation in the context of US-Canada relations. His most recent research focuses on the origins of the US-Canada security community and his ongoing projects analyze Canadian working-class politics, North American migrant labor, as well as anti-war ideology in the US and Canada.
