Crow Pose

Recommended Workout: 2 sets, hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute

Step 1

  • Cue: Finger Placement
    • Critical features:

Spread your fingers apart for maximum surface area (larger surface areas decrease the difficulty to remain balanced).

  • Wrist:

Make sure your wrist is in a good weight bearing position.

  • Cue: Legs to Elbows

Connect the side of your knees to the top of your elbow and sit your body weight on your forearms.

Plantar flex (point toe) ankle joint to keep tension through the body.

  • Cue: Stabilize 
    • Critical Features
      • Hold:

Stay in crow position for 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time.

  • Breathe:

Keep a steady ratio of breathing in for 4 and out for 5
