  • The conservation of tidal marsh birds
  • Food-web ecology of the rocky intertidal
  • Niche evolution and the origin of specialization
  • Evolutionary and ecological responses to the colonization of novel ecosystems
  • Movement ecology and migration of Red-throated Loons

And the lab is part of three, collaborative projects with fancy acronyms:

  • Saltmarsh Habitat and Avian Research Program – SHARP
  • Genomic Ecology of Coastal Organisms – GECO
  • Conserving Rockweed-Animal Systems for a Sustainable Harvest – CRASSH
