Sean Sibley, PhD, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, NP-BC, CNE

Bio: Sean (he/him) is a first-generation college graduate from Lincoln, Maine. His passions are facilitating learning and partnering with patients in their health and wellness journeys as a primary care provider. He is a proud UMaine alumni and is privileged in his continued involvement in the college community as a faculty member and employed nurse practitioner on campus at Northern Light Primary Care at the University of Maine. Sean and his family live on a small farm operation.

Current service/community outreach/other: Sean serves as the advisor to the University of Maine Senior Skull Honor Society and President of the Maine Beta Upsilon Building Association housing the Alpha Tau Omega chapter. 

Clinical specialty/research focus: Sean is a family medicine educated FNP with special clinical interests and experience in student health, integrated mental health care, and LGBTQ+ sensitive care. His research experience and topics include healthy aging, prevention and screening for cognitive decline, inclusive teaching design, and simulation-based education.
