Amy Barnes, MSN, RN

Bio:

Amy Barnes is the Manager of the Learning Resource and Simulation Education Center Manager.  She attended the University of Maine and received her Bachelor’s degree  in Nursing in 2001. During her career, she worked in the Emergency Department, Pediatrics and Home-Health care. In 2019, she returned to her roots at the University of Maine and accepted her current position in the School of Nursing.  At this time, she also began taking graduate courses and in May of 2023 completed her Masters of Science – Nurse Educator from the University of Maine School of Nursing.
