Sidewalk construction project begins Tuesday

Crews are scheduled to begin construction on a sidewalk project on Tuesday June 14.  The work will occur on Sebago Road (the road that runs between Hitchner Hall and Norman Smith Hall).  It will require intermittent one-way traffic on Sebago Road.  The project should take approximately two weeks to complete.

Musavi named associate dean

The University of Maine College of Engineering has announced that Mohamad Musavi has been selected as associate dean for academics and research.  He will replace Chet Rock, who retired May 13, 2011.  Prior to this appointment, Musavi served as chair of the college’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
