Professor Emeritus Irv Kornfield passes away

Irving ‘Irv’ Kornfield, a professor emeritus of zoology at the University of Maine, passed away April 4. At UMaine, Kornfield’s research involved the evolutionary genetics and population biology of aquatic organisms. He also taught a course on forensics.
