Researcher’s Work On Whales Mentioned in Story

The Working Waterfront website has a story about right whales in the Gulf of Maine that mentioned the work of UMaine biological oceanographer Andrew Pershing. The article focuses on the winter habits of right whales, which Pershing has studied in relation to the presence of tiny shrimp-like zooplankton upon which the whales feed.
