Maine Monitor discusses logging, forest products with Daigneault

The Maine Monitor interviewed Adam Daigneault, director of the University of Maine School of Forest Resources, on recent multimillion-dollar investments and forest product manufacturing and how they support the logging industry. “The more that we can make that is closer to a finished product, the more value we can get out of the woods that we have,” said Daigneault, who is also an associate professor of forest, conservation and recreation policy. The Bangor Daily News shared the report from the Monitor, as well as the Associated Press, circulating it through news organizations across the country, including the The Sun Chronicle.
