WGME interviews Brewer on redistricting
WGME (CBS 13 in Portland) interviewed Mark Brewer, chair and professor of political science at the University of Maine, on whether political parties will seek redistricting in Maine like is happening in Texas. “It just goes against political culture in Maine. Texas politics is intensely partisan. Maine politics is becoming more partisan but is not as partisan as national politics or Texas politics. I can’t see any scenario where this would actually happen,” Brewer said.
