CBC interviews Riordan on Canada’s shared history with the U.S.
CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, interviewed Liam Riordan, professor of history at the University of Maine, for a segment about how the town of Castine, and much of eastern Maine, almost became part of Canada following the American Revolution. “We understand ourselves by thinking about our relationship with the past,” Riordan said. “And Castine really leans into this more than many other local towns.”
