WGME interviews Dill on vegetable crop pests
WGME (Channel 13 in Portland) interviewed Jim Dill, University of Maine Cooperative Extension associate program administrator in pest management, on pests that are commonly found in and can destroy Maine vegetable gardens, such as the hornworm. “There’s two major pests with potatoes, one is the Colorado potato beetle, and the other one is aphids. Those are probably the two major ones you’re going to find in your backyard garden on potatoes,” Dill said.
