BDN, News Center highlight Ferrini-Mundy’s swearing in to National Science Board
The Bangor Daily News and News Center Maine highlighted University of Maine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy swearing into the National Science Board, the governing body of the U.S. National Science Foundation, in Washington D.C. on Dec. 4 during the board’s two-day December meeting. President Joe Biden appointed Ferrini-Mundy to the board in October for a six-year term, during which she will advise the president and members of congress on STEM policies and programs.
