Bookstore and Bear Necessities hosting holiday sales
The University Bookstore in the Memorial Union and Bear Necessities Fan Shop at the Harold Alfond Sports Arena are hosting holiday sales throughout the month.
The University Bookstore’s annual Tech the Halls celebration runs through Dec. 6. Shop special deals on Apple ($50–$300 off) and Dell computers ($200 off three laptop models) and pick up new accessories for holiday gift giving at the Tech Center during the week-long sale. UMaine faculty and staff can also use payroll deduction to finance a computer over 12 months for 0% interest using payroll deduction. Some exclusions apply.
The University Bookstore will also host its annual Holiday Sale from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 with festive savings. The sale will include new merchandise, made-in-Maine and made-on-campus items, and one-day exclusive sales on green flannel pants for youth and adults. Spend $50 and recieve an ornament while supplies last. The Bookstore and Bear Necessities Fan Shop are also drop off locations for the campus wide food drive to benefit Black Bear Exchange.
On Dec. 17, the Bear Necessities Fan Shop will hold its annual Tinsel Tuesday sale from 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with snacks from Dunkin’ and Buffalo Wild Wings, complimentary gift wrapping from M Club and 30% off all clearance items.
