News Center highlights how UMaine uses outdoor forestry classroom
News Center Maine highlighted how University of Maine forestry students learn about the environment in the Brent Halsey Educational Forest in Old Town and Orono. Jessica Leahy, professor of human dimension in the UMaine School of Forest Resources, is the steward of the outdoor classroom and has brought dozens of students there for volunteer work in trail building and maintenance.
