The County notes UMaine students assessing stormwater systems

Hauck Auditorium and Shibles Hall closed Monday morning October 7

Hauck Auditorium and Shibles Hall are currently without power and are closed for repairs Monday morning. Morning classes in those buildings are canceled. Power is expected to be restored this afternoon. Students should contact their instructors if they have any questions. A follow up message will be sent once the buildings are reopened.

In an article titled “Frenchville to hold public hearing on wastewater, stormwater projects,” The County noted University of Maine engineering students who conducted a study that highlighted vulnerabilities in the town’s stormwater systems.
