Media cover Special Olympics hosted at UMaine
Spectrum News, WABI (CBS 5 in Bangor), WFVX (Fox 22/ABC 7 in Bangor), News Center Maine and WAGM (Channel 8 in Presque Isle) covered the State Summer Games by Special Olympics Maine that was held at the University of Maine June 7-9. Estimated to have brought in 5,000 participants, volunteers and attendees, the annual event encourages community, friendships and competition in the areas of track & field and boccie ball.
