College of Education and Human Development recognizes academic excellence

More than 225 people attended the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development’s annual Student Recognition Ceremony on Friday, April 19 at Wells Conference Center.

During the event, the college celebrated undergraduate students who are graduating this spring with academic excellence honors (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher). Seniors who have been active in student groups were also recognized, including those from the national education honor society Kappa Delta Pi, Student Maine Education Association, the Athletic Training Student Organization and the Physical Education Student Organization. In addition, a dozen undergraduate students and 20 graduate students received individual program- or college-level awards.

The individual award recipients are listed on the College of Education and Human Development website, including profiles for each of the 32 undergraduate and graduate students.
