Media interviews Lilly on maple syrup production

Jason Lilley, sustainable agriculture and maple industry educator at University of Maine Cooperative Extension, was interviewed by Spectrum News and The Quoddy Tides regarding the production of maple syrup heading into Maine Maple Sunday. With the unusually warm weather this winter, there was concern that there may not be enough syrup to meet demand. “As nerve-wracking as it’s been, it’s held on and that quality will be pretty good. If you are out at a sugarhouse this weekend, you’ll get 2024 syrup,” Lilley said to Spectrum.
