UMaine study on liquor fungus highlighted by Seacoast Online
Seacoast Online, an affiliation of the Portsmouth Herald, highlighted a study from the University of Maine commissioned by the town of York to discover whether a fungus associated with aging liquor was present in the town following an expansion request from a local distillery and public outcry. The study found that the fungus, Baudoinia, was present and likely associated with the distillery.
