Division of Lifelong Learning offering three professional development opportunities in March
Registration is now open for three online professional development programs from the University of Maine Division of Lifelong Learning to benefit professionals from various industries. All programs will be offered synchronously via Zoom in March.
Grant Writing Essentials with Elizabeth Haffey will educate attendees on the step-by-step grant writing process from inception to completion. The program will be held from 9:00 a.m.-noon EST every Friday from March 1-29. The cost is $895 and 30 contact hours are available.
Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence Intervention Training with New Hope Midcoast will prepare participants to work with people who have been affected by domestic abuse and violence. The program will run from 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. EST on March 7 and 8. The fee is $195 per person and 12 contact hours are available.
Helping to Calm Strong Emotions With Resonant Language with Peggy Smith will offer attendees practical strategies for helping calm strong emotions in themselves and others. The program will run from 4– 5:30 p.m. EST on Saturdays from March 6-27. Cost is $175 and 6 contact hours are available.
