Media highlights work by UMaine offshore wind research
Sierra Magazine, American Journal of Transportation and Mainebiz highlighted work by Habib Dagher, executive director of the University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center, to create a floating concrete platform to support offshore wind turbines. The articles state how offshore wind power is achievable in Maine with floating turbines, which could eventually provide power beyond the state.
