Media cite research from UMaine study on snowmobiling
Bangor Daily News and The County cited research from a University of Maine study released in 2020 which found that snowmobilers contribute more than $600 million to Maine’s economy. The BDN article recognizes the economic impact the mid-December storm and lack of snow has created for snowmobile clubs that maintain revenue-generating trail systems.
