High Tunnel Workshop at Tidewater Farm May 8
University of Maine Cooperative Extension is holding a High Tunnel Workshop from 4–5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 8 at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm in Falmouth.
This detailed, hands-on workshop will teach techniques for building a structurally sound high tunnel. Topics discussed will include how to plan for success by squaring the site, setting ground posts and assembling the bows. Much of the workshop will focus on how to install baseboards and ends walls, and the different materials available.
Registration is required and can be done online. The program fee is offered on a sliding scale from $0-$10 per person.
