Dill speaks to BDN about tick activity in recent winters

Griffin Dill, manager of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Tick Lab, spoke with the Bangor Daily News about how warming temperatures have allowed ticks to stay active during the winter months in recent years. “With recent years and these warm winters, it’s not unprecedented by any means to be seeing tick activity now,” he said. “Unfortunately it’s our new normal.” WGME-TV (Channel 13 in Portland) shared the BDN report.
