East to keynote Maine Sustainability and Water Conference on March 31
Judy East, director of the Bureau of Resource Information and Land Use Planning in the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, will present the keynote address, “Getting from us/them polarization to partnership with, sometimes, strange bedfellows,” at the Maine Sustainability and Water Conference on March 31. East, who also serves on the Maine Climate Council, will talk about her experience working in rural communities to bridge divides and balance conservation and economic development.
