Media report on study identifying pre-European human activity on Falkland Islands
National Geographic, Science News and Inside Science reported on a new study lead by Kit Hamley, a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow with the University of Maine Climate Change Institute, that identifies evidence of pre-European human activity on the Falkland Islands. MecroPress, Phys.org, Technology Networks and the Bangor Daily News shared a UMaine news release about the study. OCNJDaily highlighted the study in an anthropology news roundup. ABC News shared the Inside Science story. Archaeology magazine shared the Science News story.
