VillageSoup notes Sea Grant participants in dams and river event
VillageSoup noted that officials from Maine Sea Grant participated in an event hosted by the Camden Select Board on Oct. 14 to discuss the Megunticook River dams and river restoration efforts. Esperanza Stancioff, an associate professor with University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Maine Sea Grant, and Sea Grant professional Parker Gassett both participated in the event fielded inquiries from people. “It’s really impressive that people are coming to the conversation having looked at this from different angles and a lot of them were familiar with the reports already,” Gassett said.
