Dill talks with News Center about deer tick activity

Griffin Dill, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension pest management specialist and manager of Extension’s tick lab, spoke with News Center Maine about deer tick activity in the fall. According to Dill, deer ticks are plentiful again as the nymphs reach the adult stage. The report noted that UMaine’s tick lab will identify ticks free of charge and test for pathogens for a nominal fee. More information about the lab is online.
