BDN, promote Extension’s hands-on preservation workshops

The Bangor Daily News, the Sun Journal and advanced a new hands-on workshop series focused on preserving Maine foods beginning Sept. 16. The “Preserving the Harvest” series begins with pressure canning and will cover topics such as canning basics, pressure canning and fermenting. Instructors will share recipes and techniques in an interactive format. Learn more and register for one or more sessions online.
