Volin talks with News Center, WVII about celebration of student creativity
John Volin, the executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Maine, spoke with News Center Maine and WVII (Channel 7) about welcome back events planned for Aug. 23–27 at the Collins Center for the Arts. The daily events, which are intended to immerse students in a research environment, include student performances, undergraduate research presentations and TED-style talks by UMaine faculty.
