Update: Public COVID-19 vaccination clinics at UMaine in August and September

A series of public COVID-19 vaccination clinics, offered in partnership with Penobscot Community Health Center, will be held at the University of Maine in August and September offering the two-shot Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

The clinics will be held in Coe Room, Memorial Union, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Wednesdays — August 25; and in September: 1, 8, 15, 22.

No appointment is necessary. Those receiving their first Pfizer or Moderna shots at the campus-based clinic in early August will be able to receive the second vaccination in September. Those who have received first doses elsewhere can show their vaccination cards to receive the second shot of their respective vaccines.

There is no charge for the vaccine. Proof of insurance is not required. If you have an insurance card, please bring it so that any administrative costs will be billed to your insurance company. No one receiving a vaccination will have out-of-pocket costs.

All members of the university community are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. For questions, please email umaine.alerts@maine.edu.
