Savoie discusses home-canned food safety with Bangor Daily
The Bangor Daily News spoke with Kathy Savoie, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension professor, about the shelf life of home-canned goods. Savoie said to avoid botulism, all goods should be disposed of after one year or sooner if the container is leaking or has a broken seal.
