Dill talks about lacewings with Bangor Daily

Jim Dill, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension pest management specialist, talked with the Bangor Daily News about green lacewings, insects that feed on aphids. According to Dill, the lacewing larvae can eat up to 100 aphids per week, and often the aphid corpses get stuck on the larvae making them look like a piece of popcorn. Yahoo shared the BDN story.
