Michelle Moschkau: Empowered by research
University of Maine Hutchinson Center student Michelle Moschkau understands the importance of being comfortable in your own skin. While working toward a master’s degree in social work, Moschkau studied body-based modalities for healing trauma. That led her to develop a new habit — exploring clinical and academic research.
She notes that this is one habit she intends to keep as she anticipates integrating evidence-based research findings into her own practice to empower healing of victims of domestic violence and clients with substance use disorders.
